Alastair is a Quantity Surveyor by profession and also brings a strong project management approach to the business.
He has been involved in various roles within the construction industry. His background has been focused on the plaster cladding and membrane systems for more than 20 years, meaning that he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Alastair is methodical, solution focused and will find a way to solve even the most difficult weathertight issues.
Passionate and driven, Alastair is dedicated to keeping Mesh as the leading applicator of external plaster cladding and membrane systems in the lower North Island.
As a Quantity Surveyor, Hayley offers a great deal of construction and health and safety expertise to the Mesh team.
She provides clear leadership on all contracts ensuring the membrane division runs safely and efficiently.
Hayley’s strong project management skills means that there is always clear communication between the client and our teams, ensuring that each project is delivered on time and to the highest quality.
Kane is responsible for all of the membrane division’s technical and onsite issues.
He works actively alongside his team, resolving details and providing onsite solutions.
Kane is an expert in his field and spends a large part of his time running initial and ongoing quality control checks.
He also provides training to all staff, making certain we are providing a total weathertight solution.
Goober was one of the original Mesh plasterers and has since worked his way through the company to now lead the plastering division.
He prides himself on delivering quality workmanship, on time, to the customer’s satisfaction.
Goober is also passionate about Health and Safety and is an expert at onsite practical applications.
His commitment and passion to keeping Mesh as the leaders in our market is exceptional.
Simon also started as a plasterer with Mesh and has since gone on to become our Plastering Supervisor.
He is responsible for training and mentoring all of the Mesh plastering apprentices, as well as supervising various projects.
Simon's knowledge and industry experience through all facets of plaster and cladding systems has a huge impact on the growth of the Mesh plastering division.
Anna started running the office on a part-time basis and is now responsible for all Mesh accounts, human resources, and health and safety - as well as what she calls ‘all the bits in-between’.
Anna’s expertise helps guarantee all our staff are treated fairly and with respect.
Her background provides a strong backbone for ongoing staff training, competency and development.
Mark is our Senior Quantity Surveyor and, alongside Alastair and James, is responsible for measuring and tendering for work across every division of Mesh.
He has extensive experience in the construction industry.
Meanwhile, his friendly attitude provides clients with the assurance that they are off to a great start with Mesh.
James started with us as a graduate Quantity Surveyor and is involved with measuring and tendering for work.
He has a passion for getting stuck in and learning about every product within Mesh.
James is heavily involved in all onsite activities including payment claims, variations and onsite project management.
Justin relocated from Nelson to Wellington at the beginning of 2020, after an extensive career in Forestry. He has spent that last 10 years focusing on Health and Safety and has a passion for delivering Health and Safety systems and processes that are both practical and worker focused.
He is looking forward to transferring his skills into the construction industry, making Mesh industry leaders in Health and Safety and settling into life on the Kapiti Coast.
